Our Sajaa terminal features 21 dedicated tanks with a total capacity of approximately 2,500 MT. Safeenat Al Sharq was established in 2002, beginning operations with small-scale used oil collection and storage. This marked the company’s first step in building a trusted presence in the UAE petroleum recycling and supply industry.
By 2007, the company expanded with additional storage tanks and its first tanker truck. This upgrade allowed Safeenat Al Sharq to handle larger volumes and broaden its collection and delivery capabilities for industrial customers.
A modern laboratory was established in 2013 to perform critical QA and QC tests such as density, viscosity, sulfur, and water content. This strengthened product reliability and compliance with industry standards for all supplied petroleum materials.
Major infrastructure expansion in 2017 increased storage to approximately 1,500 MT. Additional tanks and facility upgrades allowed Safeenat Al Sharq to serve more customers and expand its role in the regional fuel supply chain.
In 2021, Safeenat Al Sharq invested in fleet expansion — acquiring 4 × 50-ton tankers and 2 smaller tankers. This enabled faster, more flexible logistics and secure delivery of petroleum products across the UAE.
Enhancements in 2023 included upgrading the weighbridge and strengthening environmental, health, and safety systems. These improvements supported stricter regulatory compliance while ensuring efficient handling and monitoring of all fuel movements.
Today, Safeenat Al Sharq operates 21 storage tanks with about 2,500 MT capacity. With its own fleet, weighbridge, and in-house laboratory, the company provides end-to-end services from collection and recycling to blending, storage, and fuel delivery across the Emirates.
